"Farewell... to the Blue,White and Red"

If you started your flying career in the early 90's your first uniform would have been the navy blue double breasted jacket with gold button, apart from changing from a blue shirt and tie to the familiar white and red no further changes were made.

I recall how happy we all were when we finally got our uniform after weeks of training and it shows on all the graduation photos, everyone posing for the camera with a big smile on our faces, most of us worked pretty hard to reach this far and nothing was going to take away the joy of the day.

Since then many things have changed, some for better and some for worse but regarless we always wore the uniform with pride and professionalism.

So it is with sadness that the 22Sep marked the end of an era for all of us!!!!

I'm sure that we're all going to embrace the new uniform with the same pride and professionalism, so from all of us a fond farewell to the Blue, white and red.....
